About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its Early Learning Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment that supports the development of children, families, and staff. This includes ensuring that the center meets and exceeds NAEYC and QRIS standards, leading the accreditation process, and fostering inclusive relationships. The Executive Director will also be accountable for the center's operation, including hiring and supervising staff, maintaining a safe and clean facility, and managing the center's budget. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential, as is a background in early childhood education with a BA or Master's degree in the field.
Applicants for the Executive Director position must have a BA in Early Childhood Education or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred, and at least 6-8 years of experience in full-time care, including both teaching and administrative roles. The role requires a deep understanding of NAEYC accreditation, state QRIS rating systems, and licensing standards, as well as a strong knowledge of developmentally appropriate curriculum. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership, the ability to manage financial responsibilities, and experience in a sponsorship environment. The Executive Director will be expected to model the company's values and philosophies, maintain a high level of professionalism, and be actively involved in the local early childhood community.
