The Sharon at SouthPark is a continuing care retirement community for senior residents located near the heart of SouthPark. We are a non-profit long term care facility that offers independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing care. The Facilities Painter is responsible for painting common areas thru out the campus,
Healthcare/Assisted
living rooms and residential apartments and cottages. This role executes planned work orders, emergency work orders and Marketing up fits. This role focuses on timely completion of all work orders, customer service, paint supply inventory and maintaining departmental organization. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Other duties may be assigned as necessary: Work Order Management:
Receive and log maintenance and housekeeping service requests via Workhub/Cubigo, or similar internal system. Ensure timely completion of all assigned work orders. Provide regular updates to requestors on the progress and completion of work orders. Assist with emergency response protocols and provide support during urgent situations. Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate inventories of paint supplies and equipment for Facilities Department. Relay paint order needs to proper facilities administrator to ensure timely restocking. Track the usage, return, and condition of tools and equipment. Assist Directors in maintaining preventative maintenance systems for equipment and supplies. Customer Service:
Serve as the point of contact for residents and staff with paint related questions or requests. Foster a positive and collaborative relationship between the Facilities department and the community. REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Positive attitude and ability to interact with staff, residents, and vendors professionally. Excellent supply organizational skills and attention to detail. Basic understanding of painting and paint repair maintenance. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred. 3–5 years of painting experience, preferably in facilities management, property management or residential. Prior customer service experience required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: Sit, stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally lift up to 100 lbs with assistance. Perform basic physical activities, such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Use vision to read and paint with close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment is primarily a clean, well-lit, climate-controlled office. However, duties may occasionally involve working in outdoor or non-climate-controlled areas. Noise levels are generally low to moderate. Subject to interruptions and urgent tasks. May require occasional evening, weekend, or holiday hours. ACCESS TO PROTECTED HEALTH INFORMATION:
This position does not have access to residents’ protected health information.
