About the Role

The Company is in search of a Dean for its College of Business and Information Science. The successful candidate will be a visionary and collaborative academic leader with a strong focus on results. Responsibilities include providing strategic, academic, and administrative leadership for the College's business and computer science programs, with a particular emphasis on advancing academic excellence, faculty development, student success, and external engagement. The Dean will also be tasked with strengthening the College's mission of economic empowerment, entrepreneurship, and workforce preparation, as well as building strong corporate and community partnerships, and expanding experiential learning and research opportunities.

Applicants for the Dean position at the company should have a proven track record in academic leadership, preferably within an HBCU or similar educational environment. The role requires a leader who can guide strategic planning, resource management, accreditation efforts, fundraising, and program innovation. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the global marketplace and be able to position the College as a national model for business and technology education. A commitment to the intellectual, creative, and leadership development of students, as well as a dedication to the values of the company, is essential. The Dean will be expected to leverage emerging technologies to enhance teaching, scholarship, and industry relevance, and to foster a culture of excellence and innovation within the College.
