About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a strong background in financial management, particularly in the healthcare sector. The CFO will be responsible for a wide range of financial activities, including the identification and assessment of financial risks, the establishment and monitoring of mitigation plans, and the communication of financial matters to the executive team. This role also involves the oversight of financial performance, the maintenance of financial plans and forecasts, and the management of the revenue cycle process. The CFO will be a key member of the facility's leadership team, participating in the development and implementation of strategic business plans, and must have a proven track record in financial operations, strategic and financial planning, and capital financing.
Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have at least ten years' of progressive financial healthcare experience, with a focus on general accounting, financial systems, and multi-discipline management. The role requires a professional with a cooperative approach to problem-solving, the ability to build consensus, and a broad financial thinker who can work well with ambiguity. The CFO must be an individual of the highest integrity, with excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization. A bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is required, with a preference for candidates holding an MBA, MHA, and/or CPA designation. The ideal candidate will have a referenceable track record in facility finance, experience in negotiating managed care contracts, and a thorough understanding of healthcare trends.
