About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its Natural Resources Trust Authority, a pivotal role in the management of financial security systems for oil-field site restoration and orphan well obligations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and implementation of financial structures, investment mechanisms, and compliance systems that align with the Authority's mission. Applicants for the Executive Director position must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a master's degree or higher preferred, and at least 3 years of experience in financial management, regulatory compliance, and risk analysis within the energy sector. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to engage with executive audiences, legal counsel, and external stakeholders, and a commitment to the ethical and fiduciary standards that govern the Authority. Key duties include managing financial security mechanisms, overseeing a bonding authority, diversifying financial instruments, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
