About the Role
The Company is seeking a new Head of School to lead its vibrant and diverse community. The successful candidate will be tasked with uniting and inspiring the school around a compelling vision for the future, while also being highly visible and engaged in the daily life of the school. This role requires a leader who is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on manager, with a strong background in education and a passion for the Montessori philosophy. The Head of School will be responsible for comprehensive branding, marketing, and outreach efforts to support the school's growth, as well as for creating a sustainable administrative structure and fostering a culture of philanthropy.
The ideal candidate will be a systems thinker, with significant technological savvy, and will work to ensure that the school is equipped to serve a diverse student body, including those with neurodiverse needs. They should be inclusive, collaborative, and decisive, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a best-practices relationship with the Board. Financial literacy is essential for leading budget development and implementation, and a willingness to become Montessori certified is required. The Head of School will also be expected to connect with the external community to enhance the school's visibility and form partnerships that benefit the school.
