About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its Career Development Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administrative oversight of the center, including experiential learning opportunities, career management technologies, university and employer relations, pre-professional services, budget management, and the development and implementation of career development programs and courses. This role requires a visionary leader with a strong background in management and a proven track record of fostering student success through the core functions of a career development unit.
Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include providing leadership and operations oversight, ensuring the development of best practice programs, and fostering effective relationships with employers and recruiters. The role also involves strategic outreach, collaboration, and program leadership, as well as the administration of the department through systematic planning and assessment. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in a relevant field, at least five years of direct leadership experience in a career center or a related field, and a preference for those with experience in a higher education setting. A terminal degree in a related field is also a preferred qualification. The Executive Director will serve as a champion for the organization at various levels and will be expected to create and implement innovative outreach and prevention programs.
