About the Role
The Company is in search of a hands-on Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join their fast-growing, virtual-first legal team. The COO will be the operational integrator, working closely with the Founder/CEO, Managing Attorney, and Chief Marketing Officer to ensure the firm's vision is translated into effective execution. This role is pivotal in bringing structure, discipline, and operational excellence to the firm, allowing attorneys to concentrate on client results and supporting the sustainable scaling of the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for firm operations, including daily activities across various departments, identifying and designing scalable workflows, and enforcing standards. Additionally, the COO will manage the non-attorney team leads, establish KPIs, and oversee the financial and business management aspects of the firm.
Applicants for the COO position at the company should have a minimum of 7 years' experience in senior operations or firm management, with a proven track record of scaling a founder-led organization. Strong financial literacy, KPI discipline, and a history of building and enforcing systems are essential. The role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, and experience in a law firm or regulated professional services is strongly preferred.
