About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Accounting to lead its financial operations with a focus on U.S. GAAP and IFRS compliance, operational excellence, and financial accuracy. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire accounting function, including financial reporting, audits, and internal controls. This role involves managing and mentoring a multi-location accounting team, driving automation and ERP implementation projects, and providing technical accounting guidance to support strategic decision-making. The VP of Accounting will also be instrumental in ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and will play a key role in supporting strategic financial initiatives such as restructuring and M&A integration.
Applicants for the VP of Accounting position at the company must have a Master of Accountancy (MAc) degree and a mandatory CPA certification. A minimum of 10 years' progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in multi-entity, multi-currency environments, and international reporting experience is preferred. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS standards, proficiency in ERP systems (particularly NetSuite), and excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills are essential. The role demands the ability to work under tight deadlines, maintain ethical and professional integrity, and a commitment to fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
