About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Accounting to lead enterprise-wide transformation and ensure the integrity and modernization of the accounting infrastructure. The successful candidate will be a strategic accounting leader with a strong background in driving initiatives focused on centralization, standardization, and automation. Responsibilities include overseeing all corporate and financial reporting functions, establishing standardized accounting policies, and modernizing accounting systems and processes. The role also involves ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and SOX, as well as building and mentoring high-performing accounting teams.
Applicants for the Vice President of Accounting position at the company must have an active CPA license, a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (Master's degree preferred), and at least 15 years of progressive accounting leadership experience, with a significant background in public company environments. The role requires deep expertise in U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and SOX compliance, as well as a proven track record in leading accounting transformation and automation initiatives. Experience in managing multi-location, inventory-intensive operations, and a background with a Big 4 or national public accounting firm is preferred. The ideal candidate will be adept at supporting strategic initiatives, including SEC reporting, earnings cycles, and investor reporting, and will have a strong ability to partner with executive leadership on complex accounting matters.
