About the Role
The Company is in search of a visionary and dynamic Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead with a passion for innovation and a steadfast commitment to empowering its mission. The CEO will be responsible for driving the development and execution of the organization's strategic direction, overseeing all operational aspects, and fostering strong relationships across diverse communities. This role requires a leader who can serve as a visible and approachable brand ambassador, advocate for the organization's values, and expand connections to grow membership. The successful candidate will also be tasked with program and product development, strategic leadership, fundraising, and financial management, as well as team and culture development.
Key responsibilities for the CEO include partnering with the Board to implement and monitor strategic plans, aligning business strategies with the organization's mission and core values, and representing the organization in national policy discussions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising, with the ability to leverage relationships to identify donors and partners, and diversify funding sources. They will also be responsible for leading and coaching a high-performing senior leadership team, building a culture of engagement, empowerment, and collaboration, and ensuring that HR processes support the organization's goals. The CEO must be a strategic thinker, capable of removing barriers to participation, and ensuring equal access and opportunity for all.
