About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its mission of providing a high-quality, equitable education that is deeply rooted in the community. The successful candidate will be an experienced, equity-focused, and relational leader with a strong background in both organizational and instructional leadership. The CEO will be responsible for shaping the academic and community vision, maintaining day-to-day operations, and ensuring academic and fiscal oversight. This role demands a leader who can inspire a culture of high academic standards, foster creativity and critical thinking, and enhance family and community engagement. The CEO will also be tasked with leading a diverse, high-performing executive team, and will be expected to have a track record of building trust, making values-based decisions, and leading significant academic improvement.

A Bachelor's degree is required, with an advanced degree preferred, and at least 10 years of professional experience in a K-12 education or education-adjacent organization. Financial acumen is essential, including experience in fundraising and budget management. The CEO must be a self-reflective leader, capable of driving their own learning and consistently striving for excellence, while also being adept at navigating the complex dynamics of race, equity, diversity, and inclusion.
