About the Role
The Vice President Investment Banking- Industrials & Consumer & Retail will be responsible for managing the execution of strategic financial transactions, which includes mergers and acquisitions, capital raises, and other advisory mandates across these dynamic industry sectors. You will serve as a primary client contact, building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate executives and industry stakeholders while delivering tailored financial solutions that align with client objectives. You’ll oversee detailed financial analysis, valuation modeling, due diligence, deal structuring, and preparation of high-quality pitch materials and transaction documentation, partnering with senior leadership to drive business development and revenue growth. In addition, you will mentor and guide analysts and associates, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure seamless execution of complex transactions from origination through closing.
Applicants should have a minimum of six years' investment banking experience with a strong track record in executing corporate finance transactions and demonstrated ability to manage client engagements. A Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field is required; an advanced degree (such as an MBA) or professional credentials (e.g., CFA) are highly desirable. You must possess advanced financial modeling and valuation skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, and strong communication and presentation abilities. Leadership experience, including managing deal teams and mentoring junior staff — is essential, as is the ability to work under pressure, prioritize multiple assignments, and contribute to both execution and business development efforts in a fast-paced environment.
