About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Impact Officer (CIO) to spearhead the definition, measurement, and enhancement of the social impact of its diverse programs and services. The CIO will be a key player in developing and implementing impact measurement frameworks, leading program evaluations, and crafting compelling narratives that showcase the community impact. This role requires a strategic and analytical individual with a strong background in data expertise and a talent for storytelling. The successful candidate will work closely with the leadership team to ensure that impact measurement strategies align with the organization's mission and will be instrumental in strategic planning, resource allocation, and donor engagement.
Candidates for the CIO position at the company should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an advanced degree preferred, and have at least 5 years' of experience in program evaluation, impact assessment, or related areas. The role demands a creative, resilient, and empathetic individual with excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills. The CIO will be responsible for fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement, so a commitment to organizational learning and the ability to recommend program adjustments based on evaluation results are essential. Experience in Jewish communal organizations, database management, CRM systems, and a background in grant-writing or philanthropic reporting are all considered advantageous. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, highly motivated, and organized, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and navigate complex situations with diplomacy and tact.
