About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to spearhead the establishment and expansion of its U.S. operations. This pivotal executive role demands a seasoned leader with a proven track record in building and scaling consumer businesses, particularly within the U.S. retail landscape. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all aspects of U.S. operations, from commercial strategy and team leadership to operational infrastructure and P&L ownership. A key focus will be on driving strategy and execution for distribution across club channels and higher-end department stores, while also laying the groundwork for future brand licenses. The COO will serve as the primary executive leader in the U.S., reporting directly to the company's Managing Partners, and will be instrumental in creating a scalable business model that supports the company's growth objectives.

Applicants for the COO position at the company should possess a minimum of 15 years' progressive leadership experience in sales and operations, with at least 5 years' of managing full P&L responsibilities. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in logistics, warehousing, and supply chain operations, particularly in the context of large-scale retail partnerships. A Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is required, with an MBA being preferred. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the unique requirements of club channels and a proven ability to build and scale businesses from early-stage to growth phase. Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills are essential, as is an entrepreneurial mindset that can thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment. Experience in working with design and creative teams to develop compelling product and brand propositions is also a plus.
