About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Loan Administration. The successful candidate will serve as a key resource for syndicated loans and the review of new loan products. This role involves a range of responsibilities, including research, performing callbacks, and approving daily transactional entries. The AVP will also be involved in problem-solving, participating in special projects, and handling escalated and complex requests within commercial loan servicing.
Key duties for this position include documenting and managing standard and complex commercial loans, validating borrower documentation, and administering loan documentation systems. The role also requires the generation of escrow closing instructions, execution of funding activities, and leadership in overseeing and approving various processes for junior staff. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree, at least 6 years of experience in loan administration, processing, and review, and a proven track record in supervisory and coaching roles. Skills in loan administration, processing, and review, as well as experience in supervising and coaching staff, are essential for this position. The AVP will be expected to enforce service level agreements, act as a liaison between different units, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
