About the Role
The Company is in search of an Associate Vice President for Data Operations and ESG. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of ESG data strategy and governance, overseeing ESG data collection, validation, and quality control across private markets, and partnering with IT to build ESG reporting infrastructure. This role requires a leader with a strong background in data governance, operations, or information management, and hands-on ESG data experience in private markets, including lending, PE, or real estate. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years' experience in capital markets or investment management, be skilled in SQL, BI tools, and Excel, with Python being a plus, and possess excellent communication, stakeholder, and project management skills.
The role is pivotal in managing ESG-related projects to ensure they align with business goals and regulatory requirements, and in working with compliance and investment teams to integrate ESG into core processes. The Associate Vice President will also be expected to have a proven track record of stakeholder and project management, and to be an excellent communicator.
