About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Vice President for Market Access and Payer Marketing. This senior leadership role is pivotal in driving the strategic direction, financial performance, and expansion of the Market Access business within an integrated communications environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and evolving the practice, setting a long-term vision, and owning the revenue, profitability, and P&L performance. Key responsibilities include identifying and driving new business development, acting as a senior strategic advisor to clients, and overseeing the development of value propositions and access tools. The role also involves team and practice development, fostering a culture of innovation, and representing the practice externally through thought leadership.
The ideal candidate will have over 15 years' of experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical market access, payer marketing, brand strategy, or agency leadership, with a proven track record of leading complex engagements and delivering measurable commercial impact. Deep knowledge of the U.S. market access and compliance landscape is essential, as is strong financial acumen and experience in managing a business unit or P&L. The role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to stay ahead of evolving payer dynamics, regulatory change, and best practices in launch readiness. The candidate should be a visionary, commercially minded leader who can drive growth and influence the way innovative therapies reach patients.
