About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its facility and venue management. The successful candidate will be a servant leader, community leader, and business leader, with a strong focus on communication, relationship building, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure. The Executive Director will be responsible for the overall management of the facility, providing leadership and direction to all departments and staff, and serving as the primary liaison between the company, the client, and the local community. Essential duties include promoting the use of the center, serving as the fiscal oversight officer, ensuring proper communication, and overseeing the operation and maintenance of the facility. The role also involves initiating and overseeing programming, executing sponsorship sales, and representing the facility in a positive manner.
Applicants for the Executive Director position should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, at least 5 years' experience in the management of a similar facility, and advanced knowledge of management and leadership principles. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in public assembly facility management, including fiscal control, policy development, marketing, and event management. The ideal candidate will have a professional designation such as Certified Venue Executive (CVE) and possess strong language, mathematical, and reasoning skills. The Executive Director must be able to solve complex problems, maintain a calm presence in a fast-paced environment, and be adept at multitasking. The position demands a leader who can inspire and engage a team, as well as build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders.
