The Company is in search of an Executive Director to lead its mission of supporting the independent living of older adults and people with disabilities. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader with a strong background in non-profit management, including vision setting, administration, and fundraising. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include working closely with staff, the Board of Directors, volunteers, care receivers, and donors, as well as serving as the primary spokesperson and advocate for the organization. The role demands a professional with a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years' related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, particularly in the non-profit sector. The Executive Director will be expected to have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to present a professional image to all stakeholders. Experience in grant writing, organizing fundraising events, and managing staff and volunteers is essential.
The ideal candidate for the Executive Director position at the company will have a proven track record in fiscal management, be adept at collaborating with a Board of Directors, and possess strong marketing and public relations skills. Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and databases, is required. The role is pivotal in ensuring the success of the organization's mission, and the Executive Director will be responsible for the overall success of the program, including maintaining a strong financial position and a positive reputation in the communities served. The position is full-time and exempt, with a focus on the shared ministry of faith communities to support the independent living of those in need.
