About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a strong background in industrial operations and strategic finance. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' of finance experience, with at least 5 years' in a high-level leadership role within the manufacturing sector. A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration is required, and a CPA or CMA designation is strongly preferred. The CFO will be a key executive leader, responsible for advising the President and Board on financial performance, leading the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements. Experience in the agricultural, manufacturing, or commodities industry, particularly in risk management and hedging, is highly desirable.
The successful CFO will also oversee the comprehensive risk management program, manage insurance renewals, and lead the organization's major ERP system transition. Proficiency in accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is necessary. The role involves mentoring the accounting team, maintaining strong relationships with external partners, and internal corporate members. The candidate must be able to work under pressure during busy periods and be committed to the on-site, full-time, permanent position.
