About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a strong background in industrial operations and strategic finance. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' of finance experience, with at least 5 years' in a high-level leadership role within the manufacturing sector. A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration is required, and a CPA or CMA designation is strongly preferred. The CFO will be a key executive leader, responsible for advising the President and Board on financial performance, leading the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements. Experience in the agricultural, manufacturing, or commodities industry, particularly in risk management and hedging, is highly desirable.
The successful candidate will also be tasked with overseeing the comprehensive risk management program, managing insurance renewals, and monitoring commodities hedging activities. Proficiency in ERP system implementation and integration, as well as in accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite, is highly desirable. The role involves leading and mentoring the accounting team, maintaining strong relationships with external partners, and coordinating regulatory compliance. The CFO must be able to work under pressure during busy periods and be committed to the values of continuous improvement, high production efficiency, and a family-focused culture.
