About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Institutional Research and Assessment. The successful candidate will be the primary data strategist and research analyst, leading the office in comprehensive data collection, analysis, and reporting to support institutional decision-making, strategic planning, and accreditation. This role requires a Master's degree in a relevant field, a minimum of 7 years' professional experience in higher education institutional research, data analysis, or educational assessment, and at least 3 years' of supervisory leadership. The Executive Director will provide strategic leadership in institutional research, oversee assessment and accreditation activities, and ensure the development and maintenance of data systems for various institutional needs. Advanced proficiency in statistical and data analysis software, data visualization tools, and a deep understanding of higher education systems are essential.
Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include leading university-wide accreditation and assessment processes, managing data and evidence for accreditation standards, and guiding stakeholders through program assessment. The role also involves overseeing the development of data infrastructure, ensuring the quality and integrity of research, and leading initiatives to enhance research productivity and data accessibility. The ideal candidate will have strong project management, organization, and communication skills, and the ability to influence, solve problems, and think creatively. A commitment to confidentiality and a background in survey platforms, SQL, and data warehouse systems are preferred. The Executive Director will also be responsible for budget oversight, resource planning, and strategic financial planning for research services.
