About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to enhance the organization's effectiveness and culture through the development and implementation of comprehensive systems and processes. The COO will be responsible for the daily clinical operations, ensuring the work environment fosters employee commitment and pride. This role involves building strategic alliances, overseeing clinical operations, and supervising a team of managers and directors. The successful candidate will be tasked with establishing and maintaining staffing benchmarks, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and achieving the highest levels of quality benchmarks, including patient satisfaction and ACO quality requirements. The COO will also be instrumental in preparing the organization to meet the demands of healthcare reform, with a focus on quality outcomes, cost reduction, and process efficiency.

Applicants for the COO position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. A minimum of 5 years' senior leadership and management experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in progressive acute care management, is required. The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of healthcare administration, financial and facilities management, and a deep understanding of the regulations affecting healthcare delivery. Strong communication skills, a proven track record of effective management, and demonstrated leadership in a healthcare organization are essential. Certification in FACHE is desired. The role demands a professional who is adept at managing complex business operations and is committed to the values of the organization.
