About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Program Officer (CPO) to lead the strategic and operational aspects of its mission-driven programs. The CPO will be responsible for shaping and advancing a unified, long-term program vision that enhances youth outcomes, equity, and organizational excellence. This role involves overseeing a significant program portfolio, championing a data-driven culture, and providing thought leadership to the Board and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and at least 10 years' of progressive leadership experience in youth services, education, workforce development, or related fields. They must demonstrate a strong background in program strategy, systems-building, and operational leadership, with a proven ability to manage large teams and budgets.
Key responsibilities for the CPO include leading the design, integration, and delivery of all programs, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, and ensuring excellence in program performance and compliance. The successful candidate will also be tasked with building and nurturing strategic partnerships, both locally and nationally, to expand pathways for youth success and increase the organization's influence. A deep understanding of trauma-informed practices, and a commitment to equity and inclusion, are essential. The CPO will be expected to be solution-oriented, emotionally intelligent, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
