Your Role: Entry-Level Apprentice Technician (Helper / Level I)
As an Entry-Level Apprentice Technician, you'll work alongside experienced Level II, Level III, and Lead Technicians, learning the fundamentals of commercial low-voltage systems installation. This is a hands-on role where training happens on the job-every day.
You'll assist with installing and supporting:
• Fire alarm systems
• Security and access control systems
• Voice and data cabling
• Audio-visual and communication systems
Projects include:
• Multi-story office buildings
• Hospitals and healthcare facilities
• College and university campuses
• Stadiums and entertainment venues
• Manufacturing and industrial facilities
• Large-scale commercial developments
Along the way, you'll gain valuable skills such as:
• Reading blueprints and construction drawings
• Understanding commercial building standards and codes
• Using industry-specific tools and testing equipment
• Learning best practices and trade knowledge passed down from seasoned professionals
This role is designed to grow into Level II and Level III Technician positions, and beyond-opening doors to Lead Technician, Foreman, Superintendent, and Project Manager opportunities.
Who We're Looking For
You're someone who is:
• Comfortable working in construction or physically demanding environments
• Mechanically inclined and familiar with basic hand tools
• Motivated to learn a skilled trade and build a long-term career
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Willing to travel to job sites throughout Dallas-Fort Worth and surrounding areas
• Available to work days, nights, or weekends as projects require
• In possession of reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
No prior low-voltage experience required-we'll help you build the skills.
