Description: A manufacturing company in Cherokee, IA is seeking a Safety Coordinator/HR Generalist to join its growing team, offering a starting salary of $55,000-$70,000 DOE. This role is ideal for a highly organized, self-motivated individual who can work independently to promote environmental safety and health, support loss control efforts, and assist in implementing and maintaining safety policies in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Responsibilities include monitoring compliance, identifying and addressing safety risks, leading incident investigations and corrective actions, developing and enforcing safety programs, maintaining records, and organizing and conducting required safety training. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, supervisory experience in a fast-paced facility, strong communication and problem-solving skills, the ability to work with all shifts as needed, and solid computer skills; safety-related education or certifications such as CPE, CSP, or CIH are a plus.
