Position Overview We are seeking a California-based attorney to join our practice in a remote capacity, with in-person court appearances required for trials. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigator to handle complex and diverse insurance defense cases from inception through trial. Required Qualifications

• Active membership in the California State Bar
• 3-5 years of litigation experience
• Strong litigation skills and desire to try cases
• Ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives
• Willingness to travel within California for court appearances and trials

Preferred Qualifications

• Insurance defense litigation experience
• Experience in taking depositions and examinations under oath
• Track record of successful motion practice
• Experience in developing case strategy with clients
• Background in handling cases through trial as lead attorney

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of cases from initial assignment through resolution
• Develop and execute case strategies in collaboration with clients
• Conduct depositions and examinations under oath
• Draft and argue motions
• Prepare legal opinions and analysis
• Lead trials as first chair
• Work effectively in a remote environment while maintaining strong team collaboration
