Manufacturing Maintenance Technician 7am – 3:30pm Brighton, NY Are you looking to make a career change to an innovative company? Then this Manufacturing Maintenance Technician could be the right fit for you. Responsibilities Install new machinery and equipment, ensuring it is calibrated and functioning correctly. Perform routine checks, cleaning, and lubrication on machinery to prevent breakdowns. Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems on a variety of equipment. Design and fabricate parts or tools as needed for repairs and upgrades. Adhere to all safety regulations and conduct regular safety inspections. Maintain accurate logs of all maintenance and repair work, often using a Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Work with other technicians, production teams, and other departments to address issues and meet production targets. Exercise use of technical skills including knowledge of manufacturing automation, robotics, pneumatics, hydraulics, plumbing, electrical, welding and HVAC. Other duties as assigned. Required Experience High School Diploma required. Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance. Experience with plastic injection presses by Engel and Arburg is preferred. Experience with maintenance and repair activities for a variety of auxiliary support equipment. Must be able to operate a wide variety of hand and power tools. Must be forklift trained or willing to learn. Must be comfortable in a manufacturing environment.
