A healthcare role is available for a Registered Nurse with certification as a School Nurse (CSN) to support an elementary school setting in Aurora, IL. This position is a contract role for the current school year (CSY), focused on providing nursing care and health services to students. Key Qualifications and Experience: Valid RN licensure with certification as a School Nurse (CSN) Experience working with school-aged children in an educational setting Proficient in assessing and managing student health needs, administering medications, and maintaining health records Strong communication skills for coordinating care with staff, parents, and healthcare providers Ability to respond effectively to emergencies and promote health education in a school environment Location: Elementary school setting in Aurora, Illinois Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care and health assessments for students Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans Monitor chronic conditions and administer medications as prescribed Serve as a health resource and advocate for student wellbeing Collaborate with school personnel, families, and community healthcare resources Ensure compliance with school health policies and state regulations This contract opportunity offers a meaningful role in fostering the health and safety of elementary students throughout the school year.
