Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) position is based in Cape Coral, FL, providing support in an elementary school setting. The role offers a contract through the current school year, with a start date of January 5, 2026, and an end date of June 1, 2026. Candidates will work on-site, supporting multiple school locations within the area. Key Responsibilities: Deliver speech-language support and therapy to students in elementary schools. Manage a caseload of approximately 50 to 55 students, addressing various speech and language needs. Collaborate with speech pathologists, teachers, and school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions. Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities as required. Qualifications and Experience: Active Florida Department of Health (DOH) license as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant. Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school environment. Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population. Strong communication and organizational skills. Flexible and adaptable to the schedules across multiple school sites. Location: Primarily based in Cape Coral, FL, with assignments at various elementary and middle schools within the surrounding area. Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week. Work schedules vary by school location, including some daily and some part-time site assignments.
