Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to work across multiple K-12 schools within Seminole County Public Schools in Sanford, FL. These are contract positions supporting students in elementary, middle, and high school settings. The anticipated start date is as soon as possible, with assignments extending through May 29, 2026. Both full-time (35 hours per week) and part-time roles (approximately 25 hours) are available. Key Responsibilities: Provide speech and language therapy support to K-12 students as directed by speech-language pathologists. Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals. Conduct screenings, document student progress, and collaborate with educators and families. Work in a school environment, potentially requiring itinerant assignments depending on part-time position needs. Qualifications and Experience: Current Florida state license as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant or equivalent. Prior school-based experience is essential. Valid certification such as SLP-CCC through ASHA preferred. Masters degree in Speech Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or a related field required. Experience working with ages K-12 beneficial. Locations and Assignments Include: Elementary: Highlands (0.5 position), Sabal Point (full-time leave coverage) Middle: Indian Trails (1.5 positions), Markham (0.5 position) High School: Seminole (full-time), Lake Mary (0.5 position) Positions may require travel between schools and flexibility for itinerant responsibilities.
