Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Located in Elkhart, Indiana, this opportunity is tailored for a Special Education Teacher certified in Indiana, ready to make an impact in an inclusive middle school setting. Working with 8th-grade students, you will provide specialized support within a caseload of approximately 24 students, promoting academic growth and individualized education programs (IEPs). Key Responsibilities: Deliver inclusive special education services to middle school students in an 8:35 AM to 4:10 PM schedule. Manage and support a caseload of 24 students, with one-third already having established IEPs. Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to address diverse learning needs. Implement individualized instructional strategies that accommodate students IEP goals. Maintain detailed progress documentation and participate in IEP conferences as needed. Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment conducive to student success. Qualifications and Experience: Valid Indiana Special Education Teacher certification. Experience working with middle school students (preferably 8th grade). Ability to manage a full caseload while adapting instruction to meet individual needs. Strong collaboration and communication skills. Commitment to inclusive education principles and diverse student support.
