Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher to support an inclusive middle school setting serving 8th-grade students. The position is a contract role starting as soon as possible and continuing through May 2026. The caseload consists of approximately 24 students, with one-third already having scheduled IEP conferences. The daily schedule runs from 8:35 a.m. to 4:10 p.m., five days per week, totaling 37.5 hours. Key Responsibilities: Deliver inclusive special education services tailored to individual student needs. Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to ensure effective instructional accommodations. Maintain accurate records and documentation for compliance and reporting. Communicate regularly with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Qualifications: Indiana Special Education Teacher certification is required. Experience working with middle school-aged students, specifically 8th grade. Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 24 students. Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills. Commitment to inclusive education and supporting diverse learners.
