Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time, contract position is available for a Special Education Teacher serving grades 6th through 12th at a K-12 school in Converse, TX. The role primarily involves instructing students in math and science subjects, providing tailored educational support to meet diverse learning needs. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized instruction in math and science to students with special education needs. Develop and implement specialized lesson plans in alignment with curriculum standards. Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to foster an inclusive learning environment. Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly. Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with parents and guardians. Desired Qualifications: Certification or licensure in Special Education. Experience working with middle and high school students (6th12th grade). Strong background in math and science education. Ability to create and modify lesson plans to support individual learning goals. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
