Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity suits a dedicated School Psychologist eager to support students across elementary through high school grades. Working within a school environment, you will play a crucial role in assessing and addressing the educational and emotional needs of students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a collaborative educational setting located in Warwick, RI. Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students learning and behavioral needs Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide counseling and support services to students across grades K-12, with emphasis on middle and high school populations Assist in crisis intervention and offer strategies to promote positive student behavior and mental health Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to advocate for student well-being and academic success Desired Qualifications: Masters or Doctorate degree in School Psychology or related field Certification and licensure compliant with state requirements Experience working with diverse student populations across grades K-12, including middle (6-8) and high school (9-12) Strong assessment, diagnostic, and counseling skills Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and mental health professionals Benefits of this Contract Position: Valuable experience in a supportive educational environment Opportunity to impact students educational journeys across multiple grade levels Professional growth working alongside committed school staff Candidates motivated to foster student achievement and emotional well-being are encouraged to apply for this rewarding position in Warwick, RI.
