A contract position is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support students across multiple grade levels, including elementary (K-5), middle (6-8), and high school (9-12). This role is based in Bristol, RI, and focuses on providing psychological services within a school setting to enhance student well-being and educational outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students demonstrating academic, social, or emotional challenges. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies. Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to support student mental health. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student learning and behavioral needs. Maintain thorough documentation and comply with school district policies and state regulations. Analyze student data to inform instructional and behavioral interventions. Desired Qualifications and Experience: Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience working with students in grades K-12, with a focus on middle school (grades 6-8). Strong knowledge of educational and psychological assessment tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with school staff and families. Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize workload effectively. Commitment to supporting diverse student populations.
