Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

The position involves providing tailored instruction and support to students in grades K-12, helping them achieve educational goals within a supportive school environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that address each students unique needs. Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to facilitate student success. Utilize diverse teaching strategies to engage students with varying abilities and learning styles. Monitor student progress and adjust instructional methods accordingly. Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with families and school personnel. Qualifications: Valid Special Education Teacher License. Experience teaching special education students in grades K-5, 6-8, and/or 9-12. Strong knowledge of special education laws and instructional techniques. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Position Details: Location: Olathe, KS. Contract position starting ASAP through the end of the school year.
