Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time school psychologist position is available at an early childhood school serving Pre-K through 1st grade students. This full school-year contract role is based in Grand Island, NY, and offers the opportunity to support young learners during critical early developmental stages. Key Qualifications and Experience: Certification and experience as a School Psychologist Familiarity with early childhood educational settings, particularly Pre-K to 1st grade Ability to conduct assessments, provide interventions, and collaborate with educators and families Strong communication skills and commitment to student well-being Location: Grand Island, NY Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students in Pre-K through 1st grade Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual student needs Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute expert recommendations Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines Work Schedule: Full-time position Hours: 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM Full school year contract This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on early childhood education by providing critical psychological services in a nurturing environment.
