An opportunity is available for a full-time School Psychologist to support early childhood education in a PreK-1st grade setting. This contract position spans the full school year, offering a consistent schedule from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Key responsibilities include: Conducting psychological assessments for students in PreK through 1st grade Collaborating with educators and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Providing counseling and behavioral interventions tailored to young learners Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student progress Monitoring and documenting student outcomes and making data-driven recommendations Ideal candidates will have: Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Experience working with early childhood populations, preferably in PreK to 1st grade environments Strong knowledge of developmental and educational psychology principles Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, parents, and students Ability to utilize assessment tools and interpret results to inform intervention plans Location: Lockport, NY (early childhood school setting) This opportunity offers a structured full school-year schedule aligned with student academic calendars, prioritizing support for young learners in their foundational educational stages.
