Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist opportunity is available at an elementary school in the Chattanooga area, serving grades K-5. This contract position runs from January 5, 2026, through May 21, 2026, requiring an active Tennessee Department of Education certification. The role offers a caseload that includes conducting evaluations, participating in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and creating behavior intervention plans. Minimal travel between schools within the district may be required. Key Qualifications: Active Tennessee DOE certification in School Psychology Experience working with elementary-aged students (K-5) Strong skills in conducting psychoeducational evaluations, writing behavior plans, and facilitating ARD/IEP meetings Ability to manage caseload effectively and collaborate with educators and families Flexibility to work full-time hours (37.5 hours/week); part-time candidates will not be considered Responsibilities: Administer and interpret psychological assessments to identify student needs Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs and behavior plans Provide consultation to teachers, parents, and administrators on student development and support strategies Monitor progress and adjust interventions as necessary to meet student goals Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district policies Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee (on-site, no remote or hybrid options) This position offers a competitive salary range based on experience, along with the opportunity to work directly within an elementary school environment.
