Located in the Chattanooga area, this full-time School Psychologist position supports elementary school students (grades K-5) within a dynamic school district. The assignment is on-site and contract-based, beginning January 5, 2026, through May 21, 2026, offering 37.5 hours per week. This opportunity involves delivering comprehensive psychological services to young learners in a supportive and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include: Conducting psychological evaluations to assess student needs Participating in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Designing and applying behavior intervention plans Managing a caseload primarily in elementary schools, with minor travel between campuses as needed Collaborating closely with educators and support staff to promote student success Qualifications: Active Tennessee Department of Education certification in School Psychology Experience working with elementary-aged students (K-5) Strong skills in evaluation, IEP development, and behavioral planning Ability to work full-time hours on-site; part-time or remote options are not available for this role 0 to 10+ years of experience welcomed, with compensation varying by experience level This contract role offers a competitive pay range aligned with experience and specializes in a school district committed to student development.
