Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time or part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025/2026 school year within a special education cooperative serving elementary students. This contract position is onsite and will support students in either Emporia, KS or Council Grove, KS, depending on candidate location preference. Key Responsibilities: Provide assessment, diagnosis, and individualized speech-language therapy for elementary school students. Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to students communication needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support student progress. Document therapy sessions and track student outcomes in accordance with local and state guidelines. Serve approximately 10-12 students one day per week, expanding to 50-55 students on a five-day schedule. Required Qualifications: Valid Kansas license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred. Experience working as an SLP in a school setting, ideally with elementary-age children. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate within the educational team. Ability to work onsite and provide flexible schedule arrangements if part-time.
