The position supports students through the Flint Hills Special Education Cooperative, with work locations available in Emporia or Council Grove, KS. This contract runs through the 2025-2026 school year and requires onsite presence. Key Qualifications and Experience: Valid Kansas Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license is mandatory. Experience working as an SLP in school settings, preferably with an active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Ability to manage caseloads ranging from 10-12 students in a single day to 50-55 students over a typical week. Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively support student needs. Flexibility to work full-time or part-time, based on availability. Location: Elementary schools within the Flint Hills Special Education Cooperative area, primarily in Emporia or Council Grove, Kansas. Candidate must be onsite for all contracted hours. Responsibilities: Deliver speech-language pathology services tailored to individual student needs. Evaluate, diagnose, and manage speech and language disorders in children. Collaborate with educators and specialists to develop and implement effective intervention plans. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies.
