Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support young learners in an Early Childhood School setting. This full-time contract position focuses on Preschool Disabilities and is ideal for educators passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special needs. Location: Nutley, NJ Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized instruction tailored to preschool-aged children with disabilities. Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams. Create a supportive classroom environment that fosters learning and development for children with diverse abilities. Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods to meet evolving needs. Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations. Participate actively in professional development and team meetings. Qualifications: Valid New Jersey Pk - 3 Certification. Teacher of the Handicapped / Teacher of Students with Disabilities certificate. Experience working with preschool-aged children in a special education setting. Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with families and colleagues. Commitment to inclusive education and child-centered teaching practices.
