Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers an engaging opportunity for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support elementary school students in the Chattanooga area. The assignment is a full-time contract running from January 19, 2026, through May 21, 2026, with caseloads varying across one to three schools based on student needs. Services will focus on school-age children and encompass speech therapy, evaluations, meetings with educational teams, and other related duties within an elementary school environment. Key Qualifications: Active Tennessee Speech-Language Pathologist license Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Tennessee Department of Education certification Experience preferred but open to candidates ranging from new graduates to seasoned professionals Strong communication skills and ability to work independently on-site (remote or hybrid arrangements are not applicable) Responsibilities: Provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary students Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify student needs Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams during meetings Maintain accurate and timely documentation of progress and compliance with school requirements Location: Chattanooga area, Tennessee (specific schools assigned based on caseload) Work Schedule: Full-time, approximately 35-37.5 hours per week On-site presence required; no remote or hybrid options available This role offers a rewarding chance to contribute positively to young learners' communication development within a dynamic school setting.
