Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position seeks a skilled professional with specialized expertise in cardiovascular imaging and invasive cardiology techniques. The role is based in Kansas City, MO, and offers a contract opportunity for candidates with relevant credentials and experience. Qualifications and Desired Experience: ARRT-R certification and licensure as required by the state. Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Electrophysiology Specialist credential is mandatory. Prior experience working in a Cardiovascular Lab is preferred. Completion of a cardiovascular technologist training program focusing on invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring is advantageous. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification from the American Heart Association required upon hire and must be kept current. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 30 days of hire. Proficient computer skills. Experience with Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures is preferred. Valid certification relevant to the cardiology imaging field is required. Responsibilities: Candidates will support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, ensure patient safety, assist physicians in the cath lab, maintain sterile fields, and manage cardiovascular imaging equipment. Attention to detail and adherence to protocols for invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring are essential. Job Type:
