Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a skilled Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist to support cardiac imaging procedures within a Cath Lab setting. This contract position is based in Blue Springs, MO, offering the chance to contribute expertise in cardiovascular technology in a fast-paced medical environment. Qualifications: ARRT-R certification and required state licensure Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Electrophysiology Specialist certification Previous experience working in a Cardiovascular Lab preferred Completion of a cardiovascular technologist training program focused on invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring is advantageous Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification compliant with American Heart Association standards, with maintenance required throughout employment Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification obtained within 30 days of hire Proficient computer skills Experience with Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures is preferred Certification requirements must be met and current Responsibilities include assisting with invasive cardiovascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, preparing imaging equipment, monitoring patient statuses during interventions, and collaborating closely with cardiology teams to ensure high-quality patient care and safety protocols.
