Anoka, MN | K-12 School | Contract | CSY Duration A rewarding opportunity is available for a registered nurse with expertise in school nursing to support the health and well-being of students within a K-12 educational setting. This contract position offers a dynamic environment where collaboration with educators and families ensures a safe and healthy school community. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care to students, including assessment, treatment, and health education. Manage chronic health conditions and respond to emergencies or illnesses during school hours. Develop and implement individual health plans and medication administration protocols. Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to promote student wellness. Maintain accurate health records and comply with relevant regulations and policies. Participate in health screenings, immunization tracking, and health promotion activities. Desired Qualifications: Current RN license with certification or experience in school nursing. Strong understanding of child and adolescent health issues in the school context. Ability to make informed clinical decisions and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred. Knowledge of relevant public health guidelines and reporting requirements.
