A temporary opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide essential nursing services at an elementary school in Anoka, MN. This full-time, onsite position supports students during a maternity leave from March 10, 2026, through June 5, 2026, working Monday through Friday for 37.5 hours per week. Responsibilities include: Delivering comprehensive nursing care to elementary-aged students Managing health plans and medication administration Collaborating with a caseload that includes 1.5 Licensed School Nurses (LSNs) and 1 health paraprofessional Monitoring student health, performing screenings, and managing emergency responses Documenting health information and communicating with school staff and families as needed Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Minnesota Experience in school nursing preferred, with a strong understanding of pediatric health care needs Competence in managing caseloads and working collaboratively with school health teams Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to health regulations in a school setting This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student health and well-being in a supportive educational environment. Candidates combining this assignment with another maternity leave ending February 27, 2026, are also considered.
